How Invisalign Works
Invisalign®️ is a modern system for straightening teeth, using a series of plastic aligners custom-made for the patient. These aligners are made of a soft, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that fits over your teeth. By wearing the aligners, your teeth will gradually move into the correct position, planned in advance virtually by your dentist or orthodontist. There are no metal components to fix, no wires to tighten and no emergencies. A new set of aligners is inserted approximately every 1-2 weeks, until treatment is complete. The best thing about the whole process is that most people won’t even know that you are straightening their teeth.
